About Us

FIRE PROTECTION CO is a local company out of Hyannis, Massachusetts; servicing and providing fire and life safety training for all of Cape Cod - Barnstable County.

We provide superior on location workplace safety training in addition to our online and blended offerings. Drew Toma is a state certified Fire Fighter I/II, Fire Instructor I, and Paramedic. Drew makes class fun, exciting, and engaging. We believe quality training saves lives. Nothing we do matters if you aren’t comfortable and competent to act when an emergency arises.

We have developed our own fire extinguisher class that utilizes a video, presentation, and then hands on use of a real fire extinguisher to make sure you and you’re employees are ready for the real deal.

We have also developed a program to address the opiate epidemic. You will learn to recognize the signs and symptoms of a opiate overdose. You will also learn what to do in the event of a overdose and how to provide basic care including Narcan administration.

Our CPR, AED, First Aid, Bleeding Control, Fire Extinguisher programs are state and federally recognised and approved. They will stasify Massachusetts DPH, ECC, and OSHA requirements.

Where are you located and where do you service?

We are located in Hyannis, Massachusetts. All of our training is provided at your location and online. We serve all of Cape Cod / Barnstable County.

Which clients do you primarily serve?

Our services are tailored for small to medium sized businesses. Trainings are tailored to mostly organizations that have groups of students needing certification. Typically, healthcare, daycare, and hospitality, but not limited.


Payment types accepted are Cash, Check, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.

Terms: NET 30 if required, otherwise COD preferred.

What do you require for training?

To provide training, we require there must be enough seating for the students with a comfortable writing surface. We also need an open area to place demonstration devices in front of the TV or projector screen. We have our own TV.

What training formats do you offer?

We offer on-site in person, online, and a blended training format. Most employers prefer blended training for CPR/AED/First Aid as your employees can train online at their own pace on their own time. Then receive a skills check and have any questions answered in person.
